Developer Information

As West Sussex County Council's PFI Service Provider, Enerveo can offer a comprehensive street lighting service to all developers that need to provide infrastructure through S38 & S278 agreements and on other private or Capital projects.

Our Design team can assist at all stages of a development from outline planning guidance, ecology mitigation, preliminary design, detailed lighting and electrical design.

Our Construction team can deliver on-site construction.

Our Maintenance team can deliver interim maintenance before formal adoption.

Design

  • Enerveo detailed S38/278 designs are automatically accepted as meeting adoptable standard and therefore the County Council will not need to recover costs for reviewing the design.
  • Third party design proposals need to go through a much lengthier technical approval process whereby the Council must ask Enerveo to review and comment upon design proposals (and the Council will seek to recover their review costs through the S38/278 agreement)
  • Enerveo’s Design team have direct liaison with our in-house Construction teams ensures a responsive and seamless service for developers.

Construct

  • As the West Sussex maintenance contractor, Enerveo Construction teams guarantee installations will be trouble-free and comply with West Sussex standards. We work closely with developers to ensure timely delivery of infrastructure on S38, S278, S106 and Capital projects.
  • Infrastructure we can deliver includes: Street lighting, Illuminated signs and bollards, Private Cables networks, CMS systems, EV Charging points.
  • As the PFI contractor Enerveo will ultimately have to accept any installation onto West Sussex maintenance, so we guarantee that our own workmanship will meet West Sussex PFI standards.

Maintain

  • Enerveo can offer a maintenance package to keep your lights burning bright and safe prior to the site being taken over by the Authority.
  • Enerveo are unique the only go to place to smooth your adoption process by carrying out pre-accrual inspections to ensure the lighting fully meets PFI standards.
